GIFFORD High School will host the Bulawayo Under-14 boys’ basketball National Association of Secondary School Heads (Nash) top schools qualifiers this weekend.

The best school would be selected to represent Bulawayo at the national tournament later this year. Tournament director Mthulisi Makhosana confirmed the tournament.
“We will be hosting the Under-14 Nash Bulawayo province boys’ basketball tournament at Gifford this Saturday and at least 14 schools are expected to take part in the tournament where the best school will be chosen to represent Bulawayo at the Nash national basketball tournament this year,” Makhosana said.
Nkulumane represented Bulawayo at the nationals last year.
Meanwhile, last weekend Northlea High hosted Nash boys Top School qualifier basketball Under-20 boys’ tournament. Eight schools including Nkulumane, Milton, Gifford, Mandwandwe, Ihlathi and Founders took part .
Milton High came first and will be representing Bulawayo at the national championship.
