Sunday World is reporting that an investigation revealed that Jub Jub, who was transferred from Sun City Prison to Leeuwkop Prison, will apparently face a hearing after being ‘bust using hard drugs several times.’

The paper adds that sources working at the prison say that it is common knowledge that Jub Jub has a drug problem.

But the claims are being denied by officials, who have labelled the allegations as ‘untrue and unfounded.’

It has been reported that Jub Jub would be up for parole later this year, but prison officials allegedly told the paper that this latest move will prove to be a black mark against the convicted criminal.

Jub Jub and his co-accused Themba Tshabalala were convicted of murder after crashing their cars into a group of school children, leaving four dead. Their murder convictions were overturned and converted to charges of culpable homicide, leading experts to believe that the pair could be out of jail within two years because of their reduced sentences.

This is not the first time that controversy has followed Jub Jub since his imprisonment. Last year he laid a charge against Drum magazine with the Press Ombudsman after the magazine claimed he was receiving special privileges and was having regular visits by a female friend where they were allowed to have sex. The magazine was forced to apologise.
