The UK has strict anti-corruption and respect for the human rights laws. Barring Auxillia Mnangagwa entry into the country reinforces the principal that those involved in corruption should face a punishment not to be rewarded. The UK must remain firm in its commitment to democratic values and refuse to legitimise individuals linked to human rights abuses and looting of state funds.
The decision of barring her will send a clear message to those who promote oppression, corruption and abuse of power for their own benefit.
