Vic Falls Spring Festival an instant hit

A line-up of talented artists, who thrilled the crowd alongside South African artist Makhadzi on the stage

Last weekend saw the successful launch of the Victoria Falls Spring Fiesta, an event set to become an annual occasion.

The jam-packed show revived the well-known party spirit that came to life yearly during the days of the Vic Falls Carnival.

The Victoria Falls Carnival was a previous iteration of the Vic Falls Carnival, and was held on New Year’s Eve.

The new Spring Fiesta took place at Baobab Primary School Grounds and pulled out masses of party goers.

A line-up of talented artists, who thrilled the crowd alongside South African artist Makhadzi on the stage included Judgement Yard, Bagga, Raaz, DJ Nkosinator, Divara, DJ Fatso, Mr Dee, MaThousand, Ignite Magesti, Muffia Kings, J Tonga, and Daddy Racks.

The event is the brainchild of multiple organisers and is seen as much needed nudge in the Victoria Falls entertainment scene.

One of the organisers, Kudzi Matondo aka Dee Nosh, told Southern Eye Showbizz that he was satisfied with the outcome.

“Everything went well,” Dee Nosh said.

“Security was tight throughout the venue, entry points were carefully managed, and the crowd was easily controllable.

“It was a safe space of fun and comfort.”

Similarly, the show drew crowds from across the region just like the Vic Falls Festival used to.

Dee Nosh revealed that plans are underway to make the Vic Falls Spring Fiesta an annual event, attracting more international and local talent.

Victoria Falls, a natural wonder of the world, has become a hub for exciting festivals and events that attract visitors from all over the globe.

From adrenaline-pumping adventures to music and arts celebrations, the city offers a diverse range of activities throughout the year, offering visitors a unique blend of adventure, music, and culture.
