African technology firm ETS Innovation is set to expand its footprint on the continent with the launch of a new office in Zimbabwe, the company said on Wednesday, as it seeks to accelerate the country’s digital transformation through Oracle-based infrastructure and cloud services.

The Harare-based office, opening on August 16, 2025, will provide enterprise-grade IT consulting, software implementation, and customer support, aiming to modernise Zimbabwe’s technology landscape and strengthen its position as a regional tech hub.

“Zimbabwe is experiencing a digital awakening, with businesses across sectors embracing the potential of advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, security and competitiveness,” ETS Group chairperson Zandile Mbele said in a statement.

The company, a certified Oracle partner, will offer services including software licensing, deployment, performance optimisation and technical support, tailored to the local market. ETS said the move is part of its broader strategy to support African markets through local capacity building and technology investment.

“Our new office represents more than just geographical growth – it’s a bold statement of our belief in the Zimbabwean market,” Mbele said.

ETS Innovation also plans to invest in skills development and job creation, contributing to Zimbabwe’s growing digital economy through partnerships and talent development programmes.

Government departments, financial institutions and enterprises are expected to be among the key beneficiaries of the company’s Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.

Founded to deliver enterprise and mid-market IT solutions across Africa, ETS Innovation provides integrated infrastructure, database and software technologies, positioning itself as a trusted regional partner in digital transformation.

The company’s Zimbabwe launch event is scheduled for Thursday, July 31, ahead of the official office opening in August.
