A Plumtree man was remanded in custody for unlawful entry after he broke into a woman’s bedroom hut.

Kholisani Ndlovu was remanded in custody by Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware until November 13.

The state alleged that on November 5 at midnight, Ndlovu kicked open Rejoice Mnangagwa’s bedroom door to gain entry.

Whilst inside, he strangled Mnangagwa, demanding sex and was overpowered by the defensive complainant.

Ndlovu tried to flee, but was caught by an alert neighbour and he was taken to police station where he was charged for unlawful entry.

Rejoice was complaining of neck pains after receiving treatment at a local hospital.
