CDF projects lift Tsholotsho villages

Sibanda outlined a series of community upliftment projects currently underway across various wards in the constituency.

TSHOLOTSHO North legislator, Libion Sibanda, has said the constituency is witnessing some progress in development projects following the disbursement of money from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Sibanda outlined a series of community upliftment projects currently underway across various wards in the constituency.

“We have been busy with CDF funds and facilitating our projects,” he said.

“We have managed to fence a new school, Madziba Primary School in Ward 22.

“We also roofed a classroom block at the same school and another block at Mahole Primary School in Ward 9.”

He said boreholes were drilled in Ward 11 in Tsholotsho Centre and Ward 21 in Khayelihle village in a bid to address persistent water challenges.

“We drilled it this past week and on Sunday we were testing how the water is. We are yet to do the installation this coming week,” he said.

Sibanda added that plans were in place to drill another borehole in Ward 4, further improving access to clean water across the constituency.
