BULAWAYO, SEPT 28 (SOUTHERN EYE LIve): Gwanda mayor Thulani Moyo has offered to doll out free Starlink service to residents who would have paid 75% of their bills.
The offer was only extended to ratepayers owing US$2 000 and above.
“May I also bring in another appreciation token,pay 75% of a bill from US$2000 and above and get a free Starlink kit from the mayor’s office," Moyo said.
He added that paid-up residents were entitled to free refuse bins.
The mayor said the incentives were meant to motivate ratepayers to maintain clean bills.
