The home of bumper harvest SeedCo Limited says they are excited to celebrate their 85th anniversary by partnering FBC Holdings in sponsoring the 2025 FBC Zim Open.

SeedCo are one of the four anchor sponsors for the event which will run from May 4–11, 2025 at Royal Harare Golf Club.

This year, the FBC Zim Open has incorporated a charity initiative which will see the tournament, for the first time, being used as a platform to raise funds for cancer.

SeedCo are no stranger to sponsoring sporting events in the country and have been involved in other sport genres in the past.

“We are proud to be an anchor sponsor of this year’s FBC Zim Open as we celebrate our anniversary. We saw it as an ideal opportunity to support this year’s event, for it is not only focusing on sport but going an extra mile to touch the lives of those suffering from cancer. It is one of those things that causes sadness and loss to many families in Zimbabwe,” SeedCo Limited Managing Director Felistus Ndawi Gurajena said.

“This initiative ties in with the work that we do in the community and represents a meaningful alignment with fellow leaders. We look forward to engaging with golfers and connecting with stakeholders throughout the tournament,” she added.

SeedCo provides farmers across Africa with high quality certified crop and vegetable seeds.

This year will be the 13th time that the event is being held since its relaunch in 2010.

Other partners of the event include Zimre Holdings Limited who are the associate sponsor for the second consecutive year, while Golden Pilsener, Huletts, and Firstlink Insurance Brokers are anchor sponsors along with SeedCo.

Zuva Petroleum, Cimas, Liquid, African Sun, Guard Alert, AMH Media, Rooney’s, Lighthouse, Nomads, Speedlink Cargo, and Sahwira Events and Lifestyle are also partners of the event.
