HARARE Province dominated the annual Basketball Union of Zimbabwe (BUZ) inter-provincial tournament finishing with three gold medals and one silver at Belvedere Teachers’ College in Harare over the weekend.
NATIONAL Association for Secondary School Heads Basketball Top Schools champions Prince Edward and Harare Girls’ High schools will be hoping to successfully defend their titles when 24 schools converge at Falcon College for the three-day tournament which starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday.
IN AN embarrassing moment for the Basketball Union of Zimbabwe (Buz), the national women’s team arrived late for the Afro-basket Women/Fiba World Championship tournament in Mozambique and failed to fulfill their opening match against the hosts on Friday.
