The 21-year-old comedian will be performing outside Bulawayo for the first time.

Zwexy will share the stage with experienced performers such as Nama nominee, Clive Chigubhu, Charles Manasa and Simba the Comic.

“I am looking forward to my first performance in Harare. This will expose me to the world and all I want to do is to impress the fans,” he said.

Before going solo, Zwexy was under the tutelage of Chigubhu. “I really appreciate the effort that Clive put in. It is an honour to be working with him,” he added.

Zwexy said as comedians, their work was not about cracking jokes and making people laugh all the time, but touching on real life issues that affect people. The upcoming comedian is also an actor, as he was part of the cast in film yet to be released, titled Nyaminyami by Stix and Cont Mhlanga.

This month he is set to feature in a local comedy show, Never Walk Alone, featuring a number of Bulawayo comedians.
