They will participate in a number of modelling and cultural workshops in the capital, Lilongwe.
Sipho Mazibuko of Strides said she and the models were very excited to be going to Malawi and the trip will be very educative as two different cultures will meet.
The educative trip, which is fully funded by the Malawian ministry will also see the Zimbabwean models touring parts Malawi including Lake Malawi.
“It will be an opportunity for me to take Miss Rural to Malawi, as the minister was impressed and wanted the idea to come to Malawi as well. They really want to know how we do it in Zimbabwe and it’s an honour to help,” she said.
“We are going there with an open mind to learn from the Malawians and to experience everything positive from the trip.”
After the Malawi trip the next stop for Strides models will be Swaziland, where they have also been invited.
