Miss Forty 40 on this weekend

Club Forty 40 will host its first-ever beauty pageant dubbed “Miss Forty 40” on Saturday night.

The pageant, which will run under the theme, “The Chase”, will see 15 beautiful city models strutting their stuff on the ramp. Sibanengi Ndebele, better known as Dj Mzoe, one of the organisers, confirmed the event to Southern Eye.

“The pageant will see beautiful girls showcasing what we term the new generation of modelling which features new modelling styles not just walking on the ramp,” Ndebele said.

The pageant will also see the introduction of a new modelling agency titled PAC Modelling Agency and that is where most of the models on that night will come from. Ndebele told Southern Eye that the whole idea of holding the pageant was to promote the new modelling agency and for new girls to break into the modelling scene.

“I urge the public to come witness one of the biggest events at club Forty 40.

“Preparations are now at an advanced stage and we promise nothing but fireworks,” Ndebele said. Club Forty 40 recently hosted the battle of the Djs in which Dj Zetfactor prevailed.

Entertainment will be provided by Iz’khothane, a group that performs house and kwaito music and the Planeties , a hip-hop outfit.
