INDIA’S one-day cricket squad arrived in Bulawayo early yesterday morning ahead of their second leg of the five-match Celkom one-day international (ODI) series.
The world champions comfortably sealed the five-match series by taking a 3-0 lead over the hosts at the Harare Sports Club in the capital last week.
The remaining two ODIs, set for Queens Sports Club, will be played on Thursday and Saturday to complete India’s two-week tour of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe Cricket media and communications manager Lovemore Banda told Southern Eye Sport that India had started their preparations in Bulawayo.
“India are in Bulawayo and they are staying at a local hotel. We will have a news conference at Queens Sports Club around midday on Wednesday (tomorrow). Exact time is yet to be confirmed,” Banda said.
