This year’s edition runs from September 6 to 8 under the theme “Adapting and enhancing business in a changing environment”.

Whange Show Society chairperson Herbert Sansole told Southern Eye Business that this year’s event would be bigger and better than last year, revealing that 26 exhibitors had registered to participate compared to 21 recorded last year.

“At least 26 exhibitors have confirmed attendance for this year’s event and we are still expecting more to come,” Sansole said.

“Some of our stakeholders were still busy with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation General Assembly last week and now that the event has come and gone, we are expecting more exhibitors to confirm attendance as we get closer to Friday,” he said.

The Whange Agricultural Show is an annual community event in Hwange and seeks to promote and market local goods and services to the province and countrywide.

Exhibitors would include firms from the social services, light and heavy industry, home industry, security services, players in natural resources, the hospitality industry, financial institutions and agriculture, among other players.

Zimbabwe Power Company managing director Noah Gwariro is expected to be this year, guest of honour for the event.
