The hearing took place on Monday, but could not be concluded because Gwindi’s witnesses were yet to testify.

The Harare City club boss, also a former Dynamos and PSL secretary-general, has been asked to bring his witnesses to testify next Monday.

“Zifa presented their case and Zifa vice-president Ndumiso Gumede and PSL chair Twine Phiri testified.

“However, Gwindi indicated to the disciplinary committee that he had two witnesses and he was asked to bring them to testify on Monday. So it has been postponed to Monday,” Zifa lawyer Ralph Maganga said yesterday.

Gwindi is alleged to have made a scathing attack on Zifa over the appointment of the then Warriors coach Klaus-Dieter Pagels.

He is also said to have infuriated the PSL management after allegedly attacking Delta Beverages who sponsor the league through their Castle Lager brand.
