The two-week long tour will see Jeys performing in four cities which include Kermes and Vienna, during the Roots Music from Southern Africa Festival.

Jeys, whose latest album was recorded in Austria, told Southern Eye Lifestyle, he was elated to be invited to the European country, adding that he was looking forward to expand his market overseas.

“I believe it is going to open more doors for me in Europe and the rest of the world. We are going to present my latest album Silo to the festival organisers and people that are going to attend the Roots Music from Southern Africa,” he said.

Roots Music from Southern Africa Festival is being organised by Zimbabweans based in Austria.

Blessing Nkomo, a member of an international imbube outfit Insingizi which has won several international awards, is behind the festival.

Jeys added that he was in the process of shooting music videos that he would use to promote the album internationally, online and on TV stations.

Jeys started his career in 1990 as an imbube artiste. Since then he has never looked back and he has grown to become a force to reckon with.
