The moment they took their act to the decks, the crowd went haywire as they danced to the tunes and beats played by the two.
Mahoota and Vetkuk shared the decks for the first 30 minutes, soon after that Vetkuk took over the decks and he took revellers down memory lane as he played old school hits.
He continued with his polished act for two hours and he then passed the baton to Mahoota.
As Mahoota came on stage the audience that seemed to be tired came back to the dance floor as the show resumed momentum again.
Revellers were up on their feet till the early hours of the morning as Mahoota played contemporary house beats.
Mahoota revealed that he used to play solo using the name Mahoota vs Vetkuk.
“I used to play on my own using the name Mahoota vs Vetkuk. Of late I have roped in a colleague I now share the decks with,” he said.
He said what necessitated the move was that fans had expressed concern that he was cheating them when he performed alone using the name Mahoota vs Vetkuk.
“People used to feel that I was short-changing them and now I am giving my fans a two-in-one show where we give our audience more without an increased (show) charge,” he said.
