Glamourous Valentine set for Victoria Falls

SIX local fashion designers will light up the resort town of Victoria Falls on Valentine’s Day showcasing their designs.

The fashion show dubbed “Love Meets Fashion” has been scheduled for February 14 at the Wild Thing Action Bar situated at the Kingdom Hotel.

Sheenah Moyo an official from Hunnar management, the organisers of the show, told Southern Eye Lifestyle that the show will see six designers from Bulawayo taking their works to the resort town.

“It’s a show for Zimbabwean designers who have showcased in big cities, but have never shown their work in Victoria Falls,” she said.

“So we want to bring awareness to the Victoria Falls community that there are proudly Zimbabwean designers who can make any outfit you so desire.”

Moyo added that they want to make Valentine’s Day, a day to remember.

“It’s a day when people usually like to dress up, so we are giving them that opportunity to dress up for the show and spend on their loved ones as we will be having stalls for designers. Guests should come with extra cash and purchase something from designers,” she said.

“We promise a good show and everyone who will attend will get a present from each designer.”

Among the designers going to showcase is Shadow by S’dumiso for 27-year-old Sidumiso Tshuma, Clix Clothing by Cleedon Lotriet, Tripple L by 28-year-old Lorraine Ndlove, Litso by 25-year-old Annie Enelesi Maliki, Rebelious Klothing by 22-year-old Nkululeko Ncube and Blinq Xclusive Jewellery by Sheenah Moyo are among the designers list.
