Philani Ndlovu appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Abednico Ndebele for contravening Section 66 of the Criminal Codification and Reform Act (Chapter 9.23) and was remanded in custody to February 7. Prosecutor Raymond Makaza told the court that on Christmas Day last year, around lunch time, Ndlovu intentionally inserted a cooking stick into his ex-girlfriend’s private parts accusing her of dating other men.

Makaza said Ncube arrived home in Newton West from church and Ndlovu followed her into the house.

An argument ensued and Ndlovu allegedly forcibly carried his girlfriend into her bedroom and threw her on the bed.

Ndlovu allegedly placed the woman left leg on his shoulder and pressed the right leg on the bed, and then inserted a cooking stick into her private parts performing some form of sexual movements three times. The next day, Ndlovu allegedly went to the complainant’s house and threatened to kill her.

She made a report to the police and Ndlovu was arrested.
