ZEPHANIA Ngodzo has joined Premier Soccer League (PSL) returnees Bantu Rovers as Tshintsha Guluva rushes to complete their squad for the 2014 season.

Ngodzo, who joined Chicken Inn on loan from FC Platinum, last year, started training with Tshintsha Guluva on Wednesday and confirmed he was finalising his move with the Methembe Ndlovu-owned club yesterday.
“I started training with Bantu Rovers yesterday (Wednesday) and I am likely to conclude the deal today (yesterday),” he said.
Other former Highlanders players, likely to be registered by Bantu Rovers are defender Lawson Nkomo, who has been training with the club with sources saying Bhekimpilo “Barca” Ncube would likely be on Tshintsha Guluva’s list.
Nkomo and Ncube’s contracts were not renewed by Highlanders while Ngodzo’s has also not been renewed by Chicken Inn.
Bantu Rovers, return to top-flight action after merging with Plumtree Chiefs, who on Monday said they were not financially sound to sustain themselves in the PSL, are working on securing work permits for former major league soccer players Greg Klazura and Mike Rose, who have been training with the club.
Bantu Rovers general manager Wilbert Sibanda confirmed that they had submitted paperwork for Klazura and Rose to Zifa to forward to the Immigration Department.

With Bantu Rovers due to announce their new technical structures following the merger, they already had in their books former PSL players Abraham Mbaiwa, Makhosi Ncube and Wellington Sibanda.
They also have fringe Warriors midfielder Nqobizitha Masuku and Young Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe.
Their partners in the PSL have top players such as Proud Zireni, Innocent Kutsanzira, Rayson Pavari, Forward Magambanga, Gracious Nleya, Joseph Pongolani and goalkeeper Winston Chiwetu. Going into the PSL after winning the 2013 Zifa Southern Region Division One championship, Plumtree Chiefs had also roped in former Cyprus-based and How Mine’s Thabani Moyo, They have Toto Banda, Lindelani Ncube, Gift Saunyama and Mayibongwe Moyo.
Officially announcing their merger on Sunday, Bantu Rovers and Plumtree Chiefs said players from either side will be incorporated into the team that will compete in the PSL.
