Highlanders midfielders Peter “Rio” Moyo, Milton Ncube and Kuda Mahachi were earlier today involved in a freak car accident in Kadoma while on their way to join the Warriors camp in Harare ahead of an international friendly against Malawi in Blantyre on Wednesday.
Speaking to Southern Eye soon after the accident, Mahachi said they did not sustain any serious injuries but went for a check-up at Kadoma Hospital. “We had an accident just after Kadoma. Milton was driving and his car veered off the road and when he tried to get back on the road, he lost control and went into the veld. I hit my head on something and it’s painful,” said Mahachi, who sounded shaken by the accident.
He said Rio was complaining of neck pains and Ncube had gone to Kadoma Police Station.was said to have been left with the police while the two went to the hospital.
