The would see Auto House selling new cars on behalf of AMC under a credit facility, an official has said. In an interview with Southern Eye Business on Thursday Auto House director, Elias Zozo Mweneziko, said he was looking forward to sell more than 10 types of cars under the deal.

“During the beginning of May we will be bringing in brand new cars from AMC Zimbabwe to sell them in Bulawayo under credit facilities. The vehicles range from trucks, Sedans, SUVs, Mazda 3, Nissan Hardbody among others,” Mweneziko said.

“The credit facility would be conducted with our reputable customers and they would be paying for up to five years. We do this because other countries like South Africa are doing it and we hope it will work. We are targeting companies, mines, schools and banks,” he said.

Mweneziko said in Bulawayo they were the best car sellers as they were able to sell between three to four cars per week.

He said his company was registered with the vehicle theft squad in Bulawayo — meaning all cars they sold were being inspected first. Auto House offers farmers with Rhino tractors under the same credit facility.

The tractors are multi-purposed — for example they can be used as water pumps, grinding mills and for transportation and ploughing.

The company also specialises in the selling of second-hand car, trade-ins and swops, and importation of vehicles from United Kingdom, Japan and Durban.

Cars are costing between $30 000 and $35 000 depending on the type of a vehicle while tractors cost $6 500.

The company has been in the business for nine years.
