FORMER Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) group human resources manager Loud Ramakgapola has been appointed Gokwe town secretary.

Ramagkapola left AMH in 2014 after a seven-year stint dealing with human resources issues for the company. He had joined AMH in May 2008 after working for several other companies as a human resources administrator.
Ramagkapola was once a principal administrative officer in the Local Government ministry and acting district administrator for Beitbridge between 2004 and 2006.
Some of his areas of experience include seven-and-a-half-years working experience with local authorities, rural communities and development agencies. He also worked extensively with organisations that spearheaded developmental programmes such as drought mitigation, HIV and Aids and community mobilisation.
Ramagkapola was born 43 years ago in Beitbridge and is currently working on a dissertation for a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Zimbabwe.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Politics and Administration from the University of Zimbabwe and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Institute of Personnel Management.
