Hwange suffer third loss in a row

HWANGE’S woes continued as they suffered their third loss of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season at the hands of unbeaten ZPC Kariba at the Colliery Stadium yesterday.

The coal miners lost 0-1 to Chicken Inn two weeks ago and 1-2 to Caps United last Sunday before the latest setback.

Artwell Nyamiwa’s stunning volley in the 23rd minute set ZPC, who are no unbeaten in 14 matches, to victory before veteran Limited Chikafa added the second in the 36th minute.

The win saw ZPC, who have nine draws, moving into second place with 24 points, the same as leaders Highlanders who will face How Mine at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
