The expo will run under a spring and summer theme.

“We want people to come and experience creativity, elegance and flair. I am confident we can deliver because I was inspired to host this event after attending two similar shows which disappointed me by their lack of change and innovation,” said expo organiser Eric Mashaba.

Mashaba said there would be exhibitions from companies interested in organising weddings like decorators, multimedia, cake-makers and tailors who have all promised to display their ground-breaking developments.wedding-cake

“We are in consultation with the fire brigade to provide their truck for the event so we can illustrate the beauty of transforming such formal structures to celebrate weddings,” he added.

The fair will start at 8am till 6pm and children will be charged $1 while adults will pay $2.

After the showcase at Heath Streak Academy, the expo will host an after-party at the Large City Hall where dancehall artistes Winky D, Jah Prayzah and Judgement Yard will entertain guests for the rest of the night.Diamond ring

Entertainment organiser, Akim Sibanda, said people would have to pay for the after-party and advised all those interested to secure advance tickets from the City Hall reception and Rainbow Hotel.

“That would be prudent because advance tickets cost $10, but at the door we will be charging $20,” Sibanda added.
