Is Kelly Khumalo’s song a prophecy?

JOHANNESBURG — The song Kelly Khumalo performed on Marawa’s TNL show Asine during Senzo Meyiwa’s last sport interview has sparked social media conversation after its meaning was explained.

Before going on stage to sing, her baby daddy Meyiwa introduced the song with a smile.

The Venda song Asine translates to “it’s not me”.

According to many who understand the song, it’s said that she is crying out to the police in defence that she did not kill her husband, it was not her.

The show was repeated on Monday in memory of the Bafana Bafana captain who was shot dead on Sunday evening at his girlfriend’s place.

Five days before the incident, Khumalo took a video of her man singing to instagram and captioned it saying: “Bhakabhaka on #AsineFEVER this has got to be the sweetest thing ever! #My00000000000000001Fan (sic).’’

  1. She needs to explain implication behind this song. I’m not an expect in investigation issues. Professional investigators know where to start.
