CASTLE Lager Premier Soccer League side Black Rhinos head coach Jostein Mathuthu heaved a huge sigh of relief after his side edged Chiredzi FC in a Premiership match at Chishamiso Stadium yesterday.

The win was a morale booster for Rhinos who are fighting to survive relegation with just three matches before the season comes to an end.

On Saturday they head back to their favourite hunting ground Rimuka Stadium for a date against Shabanie Mine.

Rhinos opened their account through Wonder Kapinda in the 18th minute before Lot Chiunga increased their lead in the 28th minute.

Striker Tawanda Muyendi pulled one back in the 63th minute with a fine header.

Mathuthu was on cloud nine after the win, although his team remained in the danger zone.

“I am very happy that we collected maximum points away from home,” he said.

“They (Chiredzi) have a good squad and a good coach. and we knew that we should be at our best to beat them.”

His counterpart Gishon Ntini lamented the numerous chances wasted by his team.Gishon-Ntini
