Council last year set a target of $100 000 towards the Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Fund.
Proceeds from the fund are normally used to buy goodies for the disadvantaged, aged, poor and orphaned during the festive season Moyo told Southern Eye yesterday he has was not aware of this year’s target, but called on the Bulawayo community to contribute towards the fund “in the spirit of giving during Christmas”.
