This was announced on Sunday by the Victoria Falls Combined Residents’ Association (Vicora) since residents had demanded that the streets be named after some of the resort town’s luminaries.

“We have taken into consideration your appeals to change street names and avenues in town and we would like to urge you to submit all the names of people that you think made a difference in this town before their deaths. This, for an example, can be chiefs like Chief Mvuthu, who died some few years ago or any other legendary figures,” Vicora chairperson Morgan Gaza said.

“Submit all your suggested names to the Vicora secretariat offices in Mkhosana or at the council offices in town and we will immediately work on changing the names according to your desires.”
