Bulawayo-based rubber manufacturer Omega Industrial has described its participation in the recent Mine Entra Confex 2025 as a significant milestone that has generated valuable new business leads.
Omega Industrial's technical sales and marketing manager Zeblon Masialeti told Southern Eye Business that the company is already actively following up on connections made at the expo.
“Mine Entra is an excellent platform, especially for small businesses.
"We made a substantial number of leads and are now working to convert them into concrete partnerships,” Masialeti said.
Located in Thorngrove, Omega Industrial is a Zimbabwean company specialising in high-quality rubber products.
The company, which was established in 2015, marked its first time exhibiting with its own stand at the Mine Entra
“Previously, I attended as a visitor, but having our own stand was a game-changer," Masialeti said.
“The engagements were non-stop and highly productive, making our participation a truly worthwhile investment."

The company's growth trajectory is already evident, with the recent opening of a branch in Harare as part of its national expansion strategy.
Masialeti highlighted the significant challenge posed by the influx of cheaper, imported goods, particularly in the footwear sector.
“We face stiff competition from foreign companies who sell inferior products at lower prices, often directly from containers,” he noted.
Omega Industrial, which serves the mining sector with corrosion-resistant linings for tanks, boxes, and pipes, is focusing on innovation and efficiency, he said.
“We need to continuously retool and find ways to reduce costs to match our competitors,” Masialeti added.
