Tsholotsho South legislator, Musa Ncube, has been applauded for her hands-on approach to constituency development, with community members and local leaders describing her as a committed champion of community empowerment.
Addressing villagers at Chifunye Business Centre, last week, Ncube unveiled a range of empowerment initiatives aimed at boosting household incomes and strengthening community resilience.
She told the gathering that her office was prioritising practical, income-generating projects to drive economic upliftment across the constituency.
“We are committed to ensuring that everyone in Tsholotsho South has an opportunity to improve their lives,” Ncube said.
“Several empowerment projects are lined up for our people, including poultry and piggery projects, along with other ventures that will help households earn sustainable incomes.”
Her sentiments were also echoed by villager Mandla Nkomo, who said that Ncube’s visibility and work ethic had brought renewed hope to the constituency.
He noted that regular community engagements had enabled residents to actively participate in development planning.
“She is always with the people, listening to our concerns and providing guidance,” he said.

Another villager, Fikile Dube, commended the MP for championing youth-focused initiatives.
Dube said the upcoming projects would create opportunities for young entrepreneurs who have long struggled to access capital and training.
“Young people here want to work and contribute, and these initiatives will give us a real chance to start income-generating activities,” she said.
In her address, Ncube also urged the community to embrace hard work and unity, stressing that sustained progress required collective effort.
She encouraged residents to support government programmes, avoid divisions and focus on long-term development.
As Tsholotsho South prepares to roll out the new initiatives, villagers expressed optimism that the programmes would bring meaningful change, with local leaders pledging to work closely with Ncube’s office to ensure effective implementation of all these developmental programmes.
