ZANU PF says it plans to host an ambitious In-Bus Political Interaction Tour targeting youths and first-time participants in political discourse as the ruling party seeks to increase its support base.
The tour, dubbed Politics Mubhazi, will take place tomorrow, travelling from Harare to Murehwa, providing participants with a platform for political engagement while on the move.
Organisers said the initiative was born out of concern that political discussions are often held without adequate understanding of political ideology, history and party principles.
“Many people discuss politics without basic knowledge,” an organiser said.
“This tour is meant to create a learning space where participants can understand political ideology, ask questions freely and engage meaningfully.”
The tour will be hosted by Taurai Kandishaya, with Munashe Mtutsa as the guest speaker.
Interactive political discussions will take place throughout the journey, with participants encouraged to ask questions, share views and offer suggestions on governance and party improvement.
Organisers said the initiative would also serve as a platform for individuals interested in joining Zanu PF, while allowing participants to put forward ideas and suggestions on improvement.
