Binga RDC partners NetOne to build school

CONSTRUCTION works at Buunsiwa primary school in rural Binga are progressing steadily, with the latest phase focusing on painting and electrification of newly built classrooms.

The once undeveloped school, which for years operated under makeshift and inadequate facilities, is now undergoing a major transformation through a partnership between NetOne and the Binga Rural District Council BRDC.

"For a long time, Buunsiwa Primary struggled to provide proper facilities for its learners,” the BRDC said in a statement.

“The support from NetOne, working hand-in-hand with BRDC, has given the school a new face and new hope for the community."

The project is nearing completion, with four new classroom blocks and one room designated as a computer lab.

"We are thrilled to see our school being transformed. Our children will now have a conducive environment to learn and grow," said Loveness  Mudenda, a parent.

Another villager, Collen Ncube, said: “This project is a blessing to our community.

“We are grateful to NetOne and BRDC for their support.”
