Every Saturday, the quiet suburb of Woodville Park transforms into a bustling spiritual centre as hundreds gather to seek divine intervention from Gogo Chihoro, the Harare-based traditional healer whose name has become synonymous with hope, healing, and restoration.
With clients now coming as far as Botswana and Namibia all coming to witness what many call “the gift of true ancestral power.”
Speaking to the Southern Eye, Gogo Chihoro said her calling was rooted in helping people find peace, justice, and success through ancestral guidance.
“I am guided by light, not darkness. My work is to restore what is lost health, happiness, love, or property. When people come to me, they leave with peace of mind and a new beginning," she said.
Over the weeks, dozens of people have shared powerful testimonies about how Gogo Chihoro’s sessions changed their lives stories of recovery, justice, and miracles that defy explanation.
“My daughter was four years old and had never spoken a single word. We had seen doctors, therapists, and prophets, but nothing worked. Someone told us about Gogo Chihoro’s Saturday sessions. She performed a cleansing on the child. That same night, our daughter said her first word ‘Mama’. We cried tears of joy. Today she speaks fluently like any other child. We thank Gogo every day," said one client from Luveve.
Another client from Tsholotsho had this to say:

One of Gogo's happy client also shared his testimony.
“For a long time, I felt unwanted at my job. Every project I started failed, and my boss constantly overlooked me for promotions. I went to Gogo Chihoro after hearing of her from a colleague.
