Plumtree man in court for fondling neighbour

Christopher Mguni appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware, who remanded him in custody to December 1.

A 40-YEAR-OLD man from Mpoengs in Plumtree is regretting repeatedly fondling a neighbour's thighs and buttocks without her consent.

Christopher Mguni appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware, who remanded him in custody to December 1.

Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi alleged that sometime this year, Mguni went to his neighbour's kitchen and found the complainant inside.

He fondled her thighs and the complainant slapped him before telling Mguni's mother about the incident.

On November 12, he also fondled the complainant's buttocks and she went to Mguni's brother.

The next day, Mguni sent ZAR500 to his brother to give the complainant as money for forgiveness but she refused and filed a police report leading to his arrest.
