A suspected drug dealer was arrested at the Plumtree border post after entering Zimbabwe from Botswana with a bag of dagga (cannabis).
Exodus Moyo (37) was found with a bag containing five sachets of dagga and was subsequently arrested.
Moyo was taken to Plumtree magistrates court, where he appeared before Magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Nembaware remanded Moyo in custody until January 7.
Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi, leading the state's case, alleged that on Christmas Day, Moyo was searched upon entering Zimbabwe at the border, where the dagga was found.
The recovered dagga weighed 35 grams.
