River Property Group has intensified work on its vision to transform Hertfordshire Phase 2 in Gweru into an upmarket gated residential suburb, as the property developer expands its portfolio of housing and infrastructure projects aimed at providing quality and decent accommodation.
The Hertfordshire Phase 2 development is envisaged as a modern residential community combining security, quality infrastructure and increased property value, with the project team already moving from planning into implementation.
River Valley Group chief executive officer Smelly Dube said the development represented another step in the company’s long-term commitment to delivering communities that meet the changing aspirations of Zimbabwean home seekers.
“The vision is set, and the work has begun. We are building more than houses; we are creating a community of distinction, security and value,” Dube said.
“It has been a busy week, but going forward, it will only get busier. Every meeting, every plan and every decision is another brick laid in the foundation of something great. We are putting the vision into action.”
The Hertfordshire Phase 2 project forms part of a wider property and infrastructure development programme undertaken by River Property Group over the years, with the company positioning itself as a contributor to Zimbabwe’s housing and urban development agenda.
Dube said the group’s investments were anchored on the need to promote decent accommodation and modern living standards while contributing to broader national development aspirations.
The project also reflects the growing demand for secure, well-planned residential communities as urban populations expand and home buyers increasingly seek properties that offer both quality accommodation and long-term investment value.
