
ALL roads lead to Bulawayo this weekend as Zimbikers, together with motorcycle enthusiasts from across Zimbabwe, gear up to celebrate a remarkable milestone — the 10th anniversary of the Zim Free Rider Motorcycle Club (ZFR MC).
The journey begins today, with bikers assembling at KFC Greenfields in Harare.
Engines will roar to life at 9am as the riders hit the road in unison, embodying the spirit of unity and passion that defines Zimbabwe’s biking culture.
Along the way, the group will make several key stops: Mavise (Halfway point) for a quick breather, Kadoma for refuelling, Gweru for lunch and Shangani and Bulawayo tollgates for regrouping.
The convoy is expected to arrive in Bulawayo by 4pm, greeted by excitement and camaraderie.
Tomorrow, the celebrations shift into high gear.
The day kicks off with a mass ride from 10am to 12 midday, taking bikers through selected locations around Bulawayo.
The afternoon will bring games and social activities at Mavuna Lodge, setting the tone for an evening of elegance and recognition.

As the sun sets, the bikers will trade helmets for formal wear at the Red Carpet Dinner, where everyone is expected to don formal suits.
The dinner not only marks a decade of riding and friendship, but also honours the legacy of the Zim Free Riders a club that has become the cornerstone of the local motorcycling community.
“Biking gives you a lot of benefits. Mental clarity, physical fitness and networking opportunities. You meet your brothers and sisters through biking,” said ZFR MC vice-president Unruly T.J.
“This is why as ZimFree Riders MC are celebrating 10 years of existence in the Zimbabwean biking space.”
But beyond the revving engines and celebratory toasts lies a deeper purpose.
“As bikers, we believe in togetherness and riding as a family,” said one of the organisers.
“We don’t just ride our bikes. We put God first in everything we do.
“Through these gatherings, we bond, support one another and promote local tourism across Zimbabwe.”
The 10th anniversary of the Zim Free Rider Motorcycle Club is more than a party, it’s a reflection of passion, discipline and unity.
And everyone, a biker or not, is invited to join the celebration and be part of a movement that rides with purpose.
