Nyongolo told Southern Eye Lifestyle yesterday in an interview: “The video talks about those people who say God doesn’t exist though they know very well that he does. I featured local gospel outfit Family Voices on the track.

“God is alive and will always be. Everyone has to praise him and accept that he exists.”

Nyongolo revealed that the video was meant to promote his album.

“The video is to promote the album to the outside world. Unlike other artists who fade away, I did an album and I will not end there. More is to come,” he said.

The album is Nyongolo’s first solo album. He has been in the music industry for more than ten years and has worked with renowned musicians such as Jeys Marabini, Elias Musakwa, Thobekile, Black Face and many other artistes.

The ten-track album carries songs such as Izani in Xhosa, Kerephele in Sotho and Chokwadi Mwari Aripo in Shona which is all about emphasising to people that God is there.

Nyongolo, a father of two was born and bred in Bulawayo, studied at Magwegwe High School and later studied visual arts before going into the music business where he has gained experience.
