The event dubbed “Too Funny” will see performances from Clive Chigubhu, Long John and Keith Nkosi.

One of the organisers and host, Babongile Sikhonjwa, told Southern Eye Lifestyle in an interview: “It’s a night where people are free to come and laugh, sing and have fun.

“There are also singing competitions with prizes for the best and worst singer.

“Every aspiring comedians, singers, poets, rappers can come and try out their luck too; it is basically a platform for arts and fun lovers.”

Sikonjwa added that the show will run every Thursday.

“Every Thursday night we will host the event and with time we know it is going to give birth to new comedians, singers, poets and other individuals in various disciplines,” he said.

Last week the show featured local comedian and National Arts Merit Award nominee Ntando Moyo.
