The win ensured Lords bounced back strongly after losing their last game 26-56 to Highlanders while Kings continued to sing the blues after recording their second consecutive loss of 50-59 to Highlanders a fortnight ago.

King’s last win was an 87-36 mauling of Milton three weeks back, but they failed to carry their form to the last two games.

BBA secretary-general Howard Phangwana said other games were not played as some BBA teams were taking part in the Bob 90 basketball tournament in Harare.

Lakers and Southern Mavericks were to participate in the women’s category while Highlanders, Milton, Oilers and Southern Mavericks competed in the men’s tournament that ended late yesterday.

In the women’s league Highlanders got free points as their opponents Ihlathi Hawks did not show up for the match.
