Moyana has been subjected to criticism from many quarters accusing him of singing vulgar lyrics.
But judging from Gweru’s show, the youthful singer proved his popularity is still high despite the controversy surrounding his compositions.
Moyana did not disappoint the multitudes of fans that thronged Salaco bar and kept them on their toes as they demanded more of the song Munotidako that has ironically put him under scrutiny.
He had a joint performance with sungura musician Taruvinga Manjokota, popularly known as Sugar Sugar who thumped the guitar and helped with the lyrics.
Sugar Sugar did also not disappoint as he performed some of his yesteryear songs Mairosi and Zvandinoronga, among others.
Moyana said of the show: “It was fantastic seeing many fans coming to the show. Gweru has been very supportive and in the near future we will certainly come back for another performance.”
