THE Marketers Association Zimbabwe (MAZ) will hold a Bulawayo business conference next week as efforts continue to find strategies for the revival of the city’s comatose economy.
The one-day conference would be held at a local hotel under the theme: “Revolutionary marketing for business repositioning”.
According to its organisers, the business indaba would feature four prominent business leaders, Trust Chikohora, the former ZNCC president and founder of Trust Chikohora and Company; Nkosilathi Ncube, the Telecel Zimbabwe financial services director; Precious Murena-Nyika, the Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe Limited human resources manager and Njombo Lenuka, the Portland Holdings Limited managing director.
Chikora will present on the topic: “Transformational marketing for positive business growth: The missing link” whereas Ncube will present on: “A stride into direct and digital marketing: The future of mobile money and banking”.
Murena-Nyika and Lenuka will present on the topic: “Diversity and inclusion breakthrough: The rise of a market-based diversity focus and Positive and Innovative Thinking: The basis for successful leadership”.
The conference targets audiences such as managing directors, chief executive officers, general managers, senior management and company executives involved in strategic direction, academics, entrepreneurs and small-medium enterprises.
Platinum members 2014 include CBZ, Telecel, Old Mutual, Multimedia, Econet, Powertel, FBC Bank Limited among others.
