Anita Ndlovu (28) who had previously been cautioned and discharged on March 14 for assaulting another person was back at the Filabusi Magistrates’ Court for assaulting Sisasenkosi Moyo on March 7.

Ndlovu pleaded not guilty to assault when she appeared before Filabusi magistrate Mzingaye Moyo.

But she was convicted and sentenced to 12 months in jail wholly suspended on condition she performed 210 hours of community service at the Filabusi District Hospital.

State witness Zola Ndlovu stunned the court when he said Ndlovu seriously assaulted Moyo all over the body before ripping off her panties and calling passers-by to view her exposed private parts.

Moyo reported the matter to the police, leading to Ndlovu’s arrest.
