The show, pencilled for Horizon Bar and Restaurant in the evening, is expected to feature two other local best comedians Ntando Van Moyo and Q, the Boss.

Moyo of Umahlekisa told Southern Eye Lifestyle in an interview that all was set for a scintillating night of comedy.

“Everything is set and we are raring to go, we are excited that Ncube and Q the boss will be making their maiden appearances on the Umahlekisa stage,” he said.

“The show promises to be an epic one with new jokes being delivered. It’s also a perfect opportunity to wind down the business days of ZITF with some humour,” Moyo added.

The club has hosted more than five shows already and last week they were in the high-density suburb of Cowdray Park at the Assemblies of God church.

Launched last year by Moyo who has been nominated for outstanding comedian — National Arts Merit Awards two times in a row — Umahlekisa comedy club is now home to upcoming comedians such as Long John, Keith Nkosi, H O and Erlando De Genario, among others.
