Meanwhile, Zvamauya Zvanaka hitmaker Somandla “Mafia” Ndebele on Friday left Gweru fans asking for more after putting up a splendid performance at Salaco Nite Spot in Mtapa. suburb.

Among the songs that fans kept on asking for was the hit, Zvamauya Zvanaka, which has always been a favourite in Gweru bars.

Fans were also kept on the dance floor by songs such as Chidamayo. Ndebele said he was humbled by the reception he received from Gweru fans and promised to make another date with them in the near future.

“I thank Gweru for bracing the chilly night on Friday to attend our first show in the city this year. We promise to come back very soon and dish out more musical delights to the city of progress,” he said after the show.

Ndebele boasts 22 albums in his musical career, which include Zvamauya Zvanaka, Makabvo Nematete and Chidamoyo.
