OMs failed to master two late opportunities to win the match as Gorge Savada failed to find the target while his drop-goal attempt came off the post from the halfway line.

It was a bitter disappointment for OMs who had the better chances to put the result in their favour with 10 minutes remaining.

Tarisai Mugariro opened up the scoring with a well taken penalty 17 minutes into play in what were the only points for the first half of the game.

It was a brutal physical encounter between the two rivals.

The second half of the game matched the tempo of the first and it was Busters who got the first try of the match through  former Western Panthers prop Irvine Nduwa with Mugariro converting to put the side 10-0 up.

However, it was a vastly improved performance from OMs after conceding the try that saw them claw their way back into the match with Victor Chihwara crossing over for the side’s first points of the day while Savada failed to convert.

Busters held on to their slender lead to take the valuable points to make it five wins for the season.
