Nikki will headline the festival along South African house music sensation Professor and Zambia’s B1.

The festival has been slated for August 29 to 31 at Livingstonia beach in the Lake Shore district of Salima.

Nikki told Southern Eye Lifestyle that he would be at his best at the festival.

“I promise to continue lifting the Zimbabwean flag higher. This will be an opportunity for me to prove and show Africa what Zimbabweans are capable of doing.

“And to share the stage with big artistes like Professor means a lot.

You just have to be on point and I know great things would come out of it,” he said.

“I am happy about being invited for the second time. It shows that the people of Malawi do appreciate my music. I feel honoured and promise to always give it my all.”

Nikki said fans should expect a lot from both his old and new offerings.

“They should expect tracks such as No matter what, Ndajaira, Sweety, Ndiye Ega, among others and also some new stuff that I am still working on with Nox Guni and Oga family from Zambia,” he said.

Nikki is doing his final year at the Midlands State University.

The three artistes complete the list of performers to grace the festival’s stage, which is in its fifth year.

There are 17 local artistes that would perform, namely Piksy, Lulu, Skeffa Chimoto, Black Missionaries, BlakJak among others.

The festival, which seeks to bridge the gap between different cultures in Africa through music, will incorporate a red carpet fashion show, among other activities.
