Family Voices is a FOG acappella group. Rami Chuene (Khomotjo), Humbulani Tsharani (Mulimisi) and Gabriel Temudzani (Chief Azwindini) visited the City of Kings and spoke at the concert to the delight of adoring fans. Khomotjo said Family Voices had exhibited professionalism, dedication and commitment while Chief Azwindini thanked the crowd for showing love to them.

“We did not know that you love us this much. If we knew, we would have brought the whole team,” Chief Azwindini said. Mlimisi was easy going, friendly and jocularly shared light-hearted moments with congregants.

Family Voices performed their entire 14-track album, titled Time for breaking through, spiced up with well-choreographed moves to the appreciative crowd.

Led by a one-time A Academy singing competition finalist Tinashe Chitsaka and the church’s idols winner Eric Moyo, Family Voices delivered an exceptional performance.

The group performed the vapostori, ZCC, Methodist, rhythm and blues, sungura and imbube vocal traditional renditions effortlessly.

Other groups that performed at the event were Harare-based Acappella group Stand and upcoming professional dance crew Salt and Light. Bulawayo Provincial Affairs minister Eunice Sandi Moyo and reverend Paul Damasane graced the event.
